~♥ It's A Beautiful Day ♥~

I've been enjoying our lovely weather here in Southwestern PA...in the 70's and no humidity (though I do hear the humidity will be returning this weekend - I'll be hibernating in the air-conditioning).  I'm hoping to get out this week and pick some raspberries (I did enjoy a handful yesterday - so yummy).

Hello to you on this lovely sunny afternoon in Southwestern PA...we were blessed with such a wonderful day...it literally puts sunshine in my soul!

I have finally gotten around to purchasing some flowers for my porch. 

The barrel was a yard sale find.

I got this toolbox out of our garage...hubby wasn't using it.

I bought geraniums for my deck...still need to spruce up the deck a little.

I have decided to get ferns to hang on my porch this year. My dear hubby found some big beautiful ones at one of our favorite garden store so hopefully I'll get them this weekend.

~♥ My Screen Door ♥~

I ♥ old wooden screen doors.  This door has been on our home since 1963 when my In-Laws lived in this house.  My door recently got a makeover....there was no way I would ever part with this door because it's seen too many people come and go in it's 47 years in existance.

My dear Hubby and I went to Lowe's and found wooden accent pieces.  He graciously accepted the duty of painting them and attaching them to the door.

Here's an up close and personal look...isn't she pretty?

Hello blogging friends! Thank you all so much for the sweet comments that were left on my last post. I hope my formula works for those of you who are giving it a try. Honestly, this is the best year I've had for hanging baskets. I thought I'd show you a picture of the other hanging baskets. I am still amazed at how much they've grown.

I also thought I'd share the view we have from our porch...this is it on a nice day. I love this view so much and really enjoy how it changes through the seasons.

As you can see, the view isn't that good on a rainy day.

This is Lil Mama...one of the kittens. She is one of the sweetest little gals ever! They all spend a lot of time enjoying the comfy furniture on the porch.This is Bubba, the only boy in the bunch. He didn't appreciate having his picture taken...lol.
